I overslept again last night: I think I'm coming down with something.

When I woke, it seemed that there had already been some kind of encounter with the Orcs on the island. I came over, sleepy-eyed, to the group just as they were planning the next move; an assault on the Orc lair itself. Obviously I missed *something* important, because Cei and Mick are getting along now; not best friends by any means, but they're listening to each other, which is a relief.

Well, I've arrived at Silverbridge! It's a lot more cosmopolitan than back with my guardians on the edge of Narcua. Hmm. Funny, I've thought of them and talked of them as if they were my parents for so long, but on the voyage here, I find myself thinking more about my birth parents; I wish I'd had a chance to know them. I think they'd be proud to see me heading out into the wider world.
